AUROVILLE is meant to be a universal town where men and women of all countries are able to live in peace and progressive harmony, above all creeds, all politics and all nationalities. The purpose of Auroville is to realize human unity.
This project is not directly related to "The Venus Project". Still, Auroville is a great start and a perfect example of what humans coming together can create. Living in harmony away from our traditional structure of political and money-based economy IS possible...and since 1968.
In my point of view, the knowledge backing up the Venus Project could bring Auroville to a total new level of "good living" and comfort as it includes a great understanding of today's science and technology.
